When you choose Queen’s, you are choosing an unmatched mix of opportunities: dynamic professors, innovative teaching spaces set among one of the most beautiful campuses in the country, the chance to participate in hundreds of clubs, complete a paid internship or explore a new country and culture through a study abroad program.
Students who choose Queen’s are among the most academically accomplished in the world, with an entering average of 88.9 per cent. They come from across Canada and more than 108 countries worldwide to be taught by some of the finest academics anywhere – acclaimed philosophers and social scientists, innovative engineers and first-rate scientists who see scholarship as a balanced partnership between discovery and teaching. At Queen’s you can make your degree as unique as you are by choosing courses from a variety of areas, such music, astrophysics, commerce or engineering to name a few. Or perhaps you’ll spend a year studying at the Bader International Study Centre, our campus in East Sussex, England. Want to develop some real work experience? Consider an internship, take part in the Queen’s Innovation Centre Summer Initiative or pursue a dual/double degree to round out your studies. Whatever you choose to do, you can be sure that a degree from Queen’s will open the doors of the world for you.
The campus has a fully integrated network of six libraries and is home to several outstanding museums and arts facilities, including the Agnes Etherington Art Centre and The Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts.
APPLYING AS AN INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT
More than 3,800 international students make Queen's their home-away-from-home; that's almost 12% of Queen's full-time student population.
The Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) processes all undergraduate and professional applications to the province’s universities.
Go to the OUAC website and look for the "OUAC 105" category, which handles out-of-province and out-of country applicants.
