Admission Requirements

You must be a high school graduate or have completed your GED to be eligible for admission into the degree program. You are also required to satisfy the entrance-to-college requirements to be admitted into the College of Information Sciences and Technology. Students applying for admission to Penn State for the summer or fall terms 2021 will have the option of having SAT/ACT scores included in their evaluation for admission. Middle 50% test scores would be a reference. GPA: 3.07-3.60 for all other campuses AND 3.55-3.90 for University Park. SAT: 1080-1260 for all other campuses AND 1240-1410 for University Park. ACT: 23-28 for all other campuses AND 27-33 for University Park.
