For admission to the Graduate School, an applicant must hold either (1) a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or (2) a tertiary (postsecondary) degree that is deemed comparable to a four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution. This degree must be from an officially recognized degree-granting institution in the country in which it operates. Admission to the program requires a minimum of two years of related full-time work. Full-time work experience does not include undergraduate internships. If you do not yet have 2 years of full-time work experience, you are encouraged to apply to one of the OD&C Graduate Certificate programs first. The Penn State Graduate School will allow up to 15 non-degree or certificate credits (successfully completed courses with a B or better and taken within the last 5 years) to be transferred to count toward a degree program at a later date.
