To develop optometrists who will lead the fourth industrial revolution era, the KDU Dept. of Optometry targets to foster future experts who can contribute to the community with leadership, creativity, service spirit and self-sacrifice which are required in the future eyewear industry. Also, for improving the eye health of modern people which is degraded by various visual media, our department offers theoretical and practical courses in optics, ophthalmology, optometric dispensing, applied vision science to foster experts in the vision. In doing so, our department has become the best Dept. of Optometry in Korea that will take the lead in the optical science industry while establishing the great eye health conditions of the people.
