The field of professional activity of bachelors in the direction of training is the preparation of masters for versatile professional activity in the field of forestry, landscape construction, ecology, natural resources management, horticulture, agroforestry, and hunting economy by developing and improving students' personal qualities and formation of professional competencies, focused on achieving results in practical activity. The area of professional activity of graduates in the direction of training Forestry and landscape construction includes:
- The totality of forest and forest park facilities in natural, anthropogenic landscapes, including forest management, their use, protection, defense and reproduction, monitoring of their condition, inventory and cadastral registration.
Graduates can carry out professional activity in other fields and (or) spheres of professional activity provided that their level of education and acquired competencies correspond to the requirements for the qualification of an employee.
The objects of professional activity of graduates in the direction of training Forestry and landscape construction are:
- forest ecosystems of different levels and their components: flora and fauna, soils, surface and underground waters, tropospheric air masses;
- natural-technogenic forestry systems, including facilities and measures that increase the usefulness of natural objects and components of nature: forest and ornamental nurseries, forest plantations, artificial forest plantations, forest parks, hydromeliorative systems, land reclamation systems, nature protection complexes and others;
- forest specially protected natural territories and other forests of high conservation value that have exceptional or especially important ecological properties, ecosystem functions and social role;
- participants of forest relations, providing planning of forest development, carrying out the use, protection, defense and reproduction of forests, exercising state forest control and supervision over the use, protection, defense and reproduction of forests;
- systems and methods of forest development planning, technological systems, means and methods of state inventory of forests, monitoring of their condition, including methods, ways and means of collection, processing and analysis of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of forest condition;
- technological systems, means and methods of reforestation, forest care, protection and defense of forests, increasing forest productivity, providing multipurpose rational, continuous, non-depleting use of forests to meet the needs of society in forests and forest resources;
- technological systems, means and methods of afforestation for prevention of water, wind and other soil erosion, for creation of protective forests, for reclamation of technogenic landscapes;
- systems and methods of state forest control and supervision over the use, protection, defense and reproduction of forests;
- technological systems, means and methods of design, creation, operation, reconstruction of forest park plantations, providing the formation of a favorable environment for recreation, tourism and other recreational activities in forest areas, increasing their resistance to adverse factors and aesthetic expressiveness.
- Students of professional lyceums, schools, colleges, technical schools, receiving primary vocational or secondary vocational education in the field of reproduction and processing of forest resources, whose professional activity will be carried out at the objects of forestry and forest parks.
Forestry and landscape construction on the basis of secondary general or secondary vocational education in full-time education is not less than 6 years, on the basis of higher vocational education, confirmed by the qualification "Bachelor" - not less than 2 years.

The Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin (KNAU) is the leading agrarian educational institution in Kyrgyzstan. The University was founded in 1933 and is located in Bishkek.
Bachelor's degree programs at KNAU are offered in various fields related to agriculture, agribusiness, economics, biotechnology, veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, farming and other agrarian areas. The duration of the Bachelor's program is 4 years of full-time study, 5 years of part-time study, college graduates and those with higher education are trained in a shortened program of study.
Students of bachelor programs receive theoretical knowledge and practical skills in their chosen field. Training includes lectures, seminars, practical classes, field studies, internships and practicums both at home and abroad. All courses and programs are designed by professional teachers with the participation of representatives from the employer community with experience in agriculture and agricultural sciences. Master's programs at the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin (KNAU) offer students the opportunity to gain deeper knowledge and skills in agriculture, engineering, land management, water resources management, agronomy, ecology, agro-processing, economics and other related fields.
The duration of Master's program is 2 years. The educational process includes lectures, practical classes, laboratory work, as well as the completion and defense of a master's thesis. Students can also participate in research and practical projects conducted by university professors and scientists.
For admission to the master's program, the university conducts a competitive selection process based on the results of the final examination and the possession of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent education.
KNAU provides an opportunity for master's students to study on budget and contract forms of education. The University also offers various exchange and internship programs that allow students to expand their knowledge and experience outside the University in foreign partner universities.
Research work, social activity, participation in national and international conferences, seminars and exhibitions are also an important part of KNAU Master's program.
