Sunnah Jurisprudence Program Goals:

  • Preparing qualified and empowered specialists in the field of the Prophet’s Sunnah and its sciences.
  • Benefiting the Islamic world by training a generation of its children specialized in the Sunnah and its sciences; To be a reference in this science in their communities.
  • Contribute to the enrichment of specialized studies in the Sunnah and its sciences through serious research and accurate scientific investigations.
  • Developing personal and professional expertise, and enhancing the ability to lead research teams efficiently.
  • Familiarity with the tools of modern technology and its applications and their good use in the service of specialization.
  • Formation of a personality committed to values, morals and integrity in its practical practice.
  • Contributing to the realization of the university's mission by qualifying specialists who contribute to the call to God to serve the community.

Sunnah Jurisprudence Program Requirements:

  • The applicant must be a Saudi or hold an official scholarship for postgraduate studies if he is a non-Saudi.
  • The applicant must have a university degree from a Saudi university or from another recognized university.
  • His grade should not be less than (very good) at the university level.
  • He must be of good conduct and medically fit.
  • To submit two scientific recommendations from professors who have previously taught it.
  • The approval of his reference to study if he is an employee.
  • Passing the undergraduate aptitude test with a score of no less than (65) out of (100).
  • Passing the achievement test in the scientific specialization conducted by the department, with a score of no less than (70) out of (100).
  • To fulfill any other conditions determined by the University Council and announced at the time of submission.
  • He must meet the criteria and conditions for admission in the year in which he applied, along with what was stated in the admission guide for graduate studies programs at the Islamic University announced in that year by the Deanship of Graduate Studies.

There are also special conditions for the program, which are as follows:

  • The applicant must have a bachelor's degree from the College of Hadith or one of the Sharia colleges.
  • The student must have obtained a certificate with the (total attendance) system.
