Fundamentals of Jurisprudence Program Goals:

  • Improving the level of abilities and skills of researchers in the correct inference of fundamentalist and intentional rules to enhance knowledge, positive influence, and acceptance of the other.
  • Contribute to finding legitimate solutions to the problems of the times by updating research priorities periodically to keep pace with developments and changes, and open horizons for cooperation with local, regional and international institutions and sectors.
  • Linking the science of jurisprudence with the jurisprudential branches, and innovating Sharia solutions to contemporary issues.
  • Contribute to bridging the deficit in faculty members in the field of specialization for the local and global community.

Fundamentals of Jurisprudence Program Requirements:

  • Conditions for admission to the program: They are the general conditions for admission to postgraduate studies stipulated in Articles (15-21) of the Unified Regulations for Postgraduate Studies in Saudi Universities, and their executive rules and organizational procedures approved by the Islamic University, in addition to the special conditions set by the department.
  • Passing the academic courses and completing the thesis.
  • Passing the complementary courses if the department decides to study them for the student.
  • The student must pass the comprehensive examination for the doctoral stage.
  • Any other conditions deemed necessary by the department.
