Jurisprudence Program Goals:

  • Preparing highly qualified scientific competencies in the field of comparative jurisprudence and its sciences to be able to analyze, conclude and innovate to contribute to development and construction.
  • Benefiting the Islamic world by qualifying a generation of its children specialized in jurisprudence to be a reference in this science in their societies in research and science through the jurisprudence of disagreement and the methods of jurisprudential analysis and deduction.
  • Contribute to the enrichment of specialized studies in comparative jurisprudence through serious research, accurate scientific investigations, and contemporary comparative studies, in a way that contributes to achieving development.

Jurisprudence Program Requirements:

  • Conditions for admission to the program: They are the general conditions for admission to postgraduate studies stipulated in Articles (15-21) of the Unified Regulations for Postgraduate Studies in Saudi Universities, and their executive rules and organizational procedures approved by the Islamic University, in addition to the special conditions set by the department.
  • Passing the academic courses and completing the thesis.
  • Passing the complementary courses if the department decides to study them for the student.
  • The student must pass the comprehensive examination for the doctoral stage.
  • Any other conditions deemed necessary by the department.
