The Management major is intended for students interested in studying the roles, activities and functions of managers in all kinds of organizations, whether service or manufacturing, profit or not-for-profit, domestic or global, large corporate enterprises or entrepreneurial ventures. Studies in management provide students with the sought after skills, knowledge and abilities— critical and creative thinking, leadership, teamwork, effective communication, problem solving, social responsibility, ethical sensitivity—that enable them to perform effectively in any work environment. The program is designed for students interested in the challenges and opportunities of starting, operating, and growing their own business, as well as those who want to pursue a career in a variety of corporate structures, from small-to-medium size enterprises to large multinational firms. This pathway familiarizes students with areas including: organizational behavior, human resource management, training and development, reward systems, recruitment and selection, organization development and change, workforce diversity, leadership, and social responsibility.

1. One letter of recommendation from teacher/professor of last institution attended; letter from private tutor is not accepted
2. Official high school transcript(s) and diploma or Official college/university transcript(s) and catalog (if applying for transfer credits)
3. Acceptable evidence of proficiency in English:
IELTS Academic (6.5 or above)

Michigan State University Certificate of English Language Proficiency (MSU – CELP)
Michigan Proficiency Certificate
Cambridge Proficiency Certificate

GCE higher level English: Grade C or greater
International Baccalaureate Diploma
SAT (450 or above)
ACT (15 or above)
Students may also qualify to take WP1010 by submitting evidence of fluency based on graduation from an English speaking secondary school/program.
If none of the above can be provided, then the candidate will have to take the English Placement Test administered by the College.
4. Notarized copy of passport
Candidates will attend an interview with a designated College representative after all application materials have been submitted.
