Established in 2002, the Theatre Arts program delivers a balanced curriculum of performance, dramatic theory and literature, performance history and technical aspects of the stage. Distinguished faculty from a variety of theatre professions bring their experience to bear on the classroom experience, offering students a unique opportunity to explore theatre arts in both theory and practice in state-of the-art facilities, like the College’s Black Box and Open Air Theatres. In addition, the program collaborates with academic institutions and established theatre artists both from Greece and abroad. Theatre Arts students are exposed to a variety of styles and practices. They develop technical skills in acting, directing, designing, and stage managing as well as the critical skills of evaluating performances. Students become aware of the wide range of opportunities in the field, and ultimately build the necessary confidence in their chosen discipline, which will prepare them for a career in the theatre and for graduate studies.

1. One letter of recommendation from teacher/professor of last institution attended; letter from private tutor is not accepted

2. Official high school transcript(s) and diploma or Official college/university transcript(s) and catalog (if applying for transfer credits)

3. Acceptable evidence of proficiency in English:

IELTS Academic (6.5 or above)

Michigan State University Certificate of English Language Proficiency (MSU – CELP)
Michigan Proficiency Certificate
Cambridge Proficiency Certificate

TOEFL (score 87 or higher on internet based)
GCE higher level English: Grade C or greater
International Baccalaureate Diploma
SAT (450 or above)
ACT (15 or above)
Students may also qualify to take WP1010 by submitting evidence of fluency based on graduation from an English speaking secondary school/program.

If none of the above can be provided, then the candidate will have to take the English Placement Test administered by the College.

4. Notarized copy of passport

Candidates will attend an interview with a designated College representative after all application materials have been submitted.
