The Department of Communication comprises faculty members with a wide range of professional and academic experience and students with a wide range of backgrounds and a variety of media-related career interests. The department provides the best of an American liberal arts education in a context that challenges students from different backgrounds to assess and assimilate different cultural approaches to communication. The Communication program allows students to explore a range of media-related areas, providing them with a foundational understanding of the communication techniques that enable professionals in advertising, film and television, journalism, and public relations to communicate with a variety of audiences. Students also build a foundation in many of the theoretical approaches media practitioners and academics take to understanding media content and study the social and technological contexts in which people create and consume media.

1. One letter of recommendation from teacher/professor of last institution attended; letter from private tutor is not accepted

2. Official high school transcript(s) and diploma or Official college/university transcript(s) and catalog (if applying for transfer credits)

3. Acceptable evidence of proficiency in English:

ACT (15 or above)
Students may also qualify to take WP1010 by submitting evidence of fluency based on graduation from an English speaking secondary school/program.

If none of the above can be provided, then the candidate will have to take the English Placement Test administered by the College.

4. Notarized copy of passport

Candidates will attend an interview with a designated College representative after all application materials have been submitted.
