This is an intercalated course, designed to be undertaken by Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (B-MBBS) students at the end of Year 3 and before Year 4 of the MBBS course. Students eligible for entry into the BMedSci (Hons) must be enrolled in Curtin University's Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and have successfully completed Years 1 -3 of the course. Applicants are expected to attain a CWA average of ≥ 65 in Year 2 and Year 3 of the MBBS course. Applicants are also required to have the agreement in principle of a member of academic staff to act as supervisor, and admission into honours is subject to an appropriate supervisor and project being available. Students will select an appropriate project from an advertised list.
