The Doctoral Study Program in Medical Sciences stands as a distinguished doctoral educational initiative within the esteemed confines of the Faculty of Medicine, its roots tracing back to its inception in 1984. The structuring of doctoral educational offerings harmonizes seamlessly with the configuration of scientific domains championed by the Consortium for Science under the Directorate General of Higher Education, meticulously tailored to leverage the extensive intellectual reservoir of Universitas Airlangga. This alignment is specifically oriented toward the domains of Health, Law, Economics, Science and Mathematics, and Agriculture (Veterinary Medicine). This comprehensive program extends over a span of three years, equivalent to six semesters, characterized by its resolute commitment to a research-centered curriculum. The program, celebrated as a trailblazing endeavor, has earned the distinction of accreditation from the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (IAAHEH), a testament to its unwavering pursuit of academic excellence.
