Jurisprudence of the Sunna Program Goals:

  • Preparing well-versed scientific competencies in the field of the Prophet’s Sunnah and its sciences; To be able to contribute to higher education and its development.
  • Enriching specialized studies in Sunnah jurisprudence and its sources through serious research and accurate scientific investigations.
  • Developing personal and professional expertise capable of leading research groups with high professionalism.
  • Benefiting the global community by qualifying qualified specialists in the Sunnah of the Prophet to be a reference in this science in their societies.
  • Employing modern technology tools and their applications in the service of specialization.
  • Formation of a personality committed to values, morals and integrity in its practical practice.
  • Contributing to the realization of the university's mission by consolidating the approach of Islam and spreading its values ​​of moderation and moderation.
  • Highlighting the sufficiency of the Sunnah by meeting the needs and developments of the age.

Jurisprudence of the Sunna Program Requirements:

  • In addition to the general conditions for admission to postgraduate studies stipulated in the regulations, admission to the program is required:
  • The applicant must be a Saudi or hold an official scholarship for postgraduate studies if he is a non-Saudi.
  • To have a master's degree in the specialty of the Prophet's Sunnah
  • He must be of good conduct and medically fit.
  • To submit two scientific recommendations from professors who have previously taught.
  • Approval of his reference to study if he is an employee.
  • The principle is that the doctoral study is full-time, and the University Council may make an exception when the need arises.
  • Pass the undergraduate aptitude test with a score of no less than (65) out of (100).
  • Passing the achievement test in the scientific specialization conducted by the department, with a score of no less than (70) out of (100).
  • Passing the Holy Quran test of no less than ten parts.
  • To fulfill any other conditions determined by the University Council and announced at the time of submission.
  • He must meet the criteria and conditions for admission in the year in which he applied, along with what was stated in the admission guide for graduate studies programs at the Islamic University announced in that year by the Deanship of Graduate Studies.
