Established in 2009, CommDe is an international Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts (BFA) program in communication design offered by the Faculty of Architecture.  The program focuses on the myriad fields of communication — from design for publishing to new media communication, graphic design, illustration, moving images, time-based design, internet-based design, digital design, and emergent and future media.
We produce designers whose work is on par with international standards in terms of attitude, proficiency and ethics.  CommDe graduates are highly competent in managing a diverse array of media, technical know-how, while having acute social awareness in building a better community.

All applicants must have completed high schools, or presently are in their final year of high schools (Mathayom 6, grade 12 in the American system or year 13 in the British system), or passed one of the high school equivalent standard tests according to the condition set by CHULALONGKORN UNIVERSITY (e.g. GED, IGCSE, NCEA) which can process the high school equivalency through Chulalongkorn Academic Testing Center. Digital Portfolio and Personal Statement is also compulsory.

Chulalongkorn University is Thailand’s oldest and one of the country’s most prestigious universities. It was officially established on March 26 1917 by King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) and named after his father King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) as he initiated a policy to promote education so the country to adapt to the developing world and avoid colonization.Chulalongkorn University opened with four faculties, Medicine, Public Administration, Engineering, and Arts and Sciences and an enrollment of 380 students.
