In this Legal Studies course, students will explore the legal system and how it shapes the society. Students will broaden their understanding of the role and operation of law, the structure of the Australian legal system and case law and legislation and the interaction of law with other disciplines and social groupings. Through this course, students will explore a range of issues, including human trafficking, crimes against humanity and social and welfare law. Students will also learn about dispute resolution and have the opportunity to develop their own dispute resolution skills.
