Through this double degree, students will learn all the major fields in psychology and explore areas such as human development; biological, social and cultural influences on individuals; psychological health and wellbeing, and psychological disorders. Students will also examine crime from a range of perspectives, including law, sociology and psychology and learn to challenge common perceptions of crime with insights into why people commit offences, how to reduce crime and how to help both victims and offenders in the criminal justice system. The Criminology component of the combined degree can be completed with a major in Criminal Behaviour, Crime Science or Legal Studies. The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).
