The Spanish Program offers courses at all levels. It is supported by a state-of-the-art computer and digital lab, study abroad programs in Latin America and Spain, various student activities, and a dedicated faculty. Combined with a major or a minor in another area of study, command of Spanish will provide opportunities not open to monolinguals with only knowledge of English. The goal of the Spanish program is to offer highly effective courses from beginning to advanced levels. Experienced faculty provides students with the skills needed to analyze and interact meaningfully with Spanish-speaking cultures. This program encourage all students to take part in programs and many often combine their study of Spanish with another major/minor in areas such as business, broadcasting, hospitality services, and many others. Many students obtain credit for their high school courses through Advanced Placement, CLEP tests, or Retroactive Credit. In this program, students will focus on Spanish for business concentration.
