The MASTER'S PHYSICS OF COMPLEX SYSTEMS (PCS) is a research-oriented training course in fundamental physics. Students receive the master's degree in physics from the University Paris Diderot "Complex Systems". The course aims to study complex systems through statistical physics, in equilibrium and out of equilibrium, field theory, stochastic processes, dynamical systems, non-linear physics and numerical simulation. The objects of study are complex networks, graphs, inference, "big data", "machine learning", active matter, the physical/social science interface, econophysics, "soft" matter, biological systems, complexity in quantum physics, etc.
Goals Train future doctoral students in the physics laboratories of universities and CNRS, as well as executives in companies, start-ups around "big-data", social and financial models, etc.
