The BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at EUC enables students to specialize with either an energy focus (production, distribution and renewable energy) or a telecommunication focus. The program emphasizes the knowledge and skills required in a fast-changing industry, so that students are able to appropriately design, develop, evaluate, maintain and upgrade electrical and electronic systems.

Students gain skills in electrical installations, design and maintenance of communication systems, electrical circuits and control boards. Our students participate in internships at leading Cypriot or multinational companies active in the field of Electrical and Electronic Systems and Telecommunications, such as CYTA and Hellas Sat. The Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree at EUC is recognized by the Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK), the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).

  5. Copy of a valid passport (for international applicants only)

  *Proof of English language   proficiency : Knowledge of the English language is not a requirement for admission. At European University Cyprus, applicants whose native language is not English take the university’s English Placement Test (EPT) upon arrival at the university to indicate their English level and be placed in appropriate courses. Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 550 (213 computer-based, 79 Internet-based), English IGCSE with grade ‘C’ or above, or IELTS with a score of 6. 5 or above are exempted from the EPT. Other external exams may be accepted by the Language Center of the University as equivalent. Please consult with the Office of Admissions for more details. Candidates, whose English proficiency is not up to the university’s standard, have the opportunity to take additional English language classes according to their degree requirements.

EUC is located in Nicosia, Cyprus’ capital and largest city. The university is situated near the center of political, economic and cultural activity in the country. EUC’s Center for Applied Research was established in 1991 as an independent, non-governmental institution, providing market research, training, and consultancy services to public and private sector clients.
