Healthcare professionals are increasingly required to have formally recognized teaching qualifications to support, teach and assess students and trainees.

The MSc in Medical Education at EUC prepares students to develop teaching and research skills in order to train health care professionals of the future. Students are equipped with knowledge and skills in teaching, learning and assessment for undergraduate and post-graduate students in healthcare and medical education, both in the conventional and virtual learning environments. The program can be completed with taught coursework only or with coursework and a master’s thesis.

Online delivery of the program allows working professionals (GPs, doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers including pharmacy and physical therapy students) the opportunity to upgrade their qualifications. Graduates are able to advance their careers in medical education at universities and other institutions.

  • Αll applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related profession or the equivalent.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENT:

  1. A completed application form together with a non-refundable fee of €52. Applicants may also apply online  here.
  2. Official copy of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in English (or official copies of professional qualifications)
  3. Official copy of academic transcript, in English
  4. Official copy of High School Leaving Certificate and grade marksheet in English
  5. Proof of English language proficiency (if any)
  6. One recommendation letter
  7. Proof of work experience (if applicable)
  8. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  9. Copy of a valid passport (for international applicants only)

EUC is located in Nicosia, Cyprus’ capital and largest city. The university is situated near the center of political, economic and cultural activity in the country. EUC has recently expanded and opened a new campus, consists of modern facilities, well-equipped laboratories, amphitheatre lecture halls, student apartments and entertainment venues.

EUC’s Center for Applied Research was established in 1991 as an independent, non-governmental institution, providing market research, training, and consultancy services to public and private sector clients. The Center also emphasizes the importance of accurate, ethical data collection, sharing the findings of CAR projects as widely as possible. EUC’s faculty collaborates with scientists from some of world’s best universities including Harvard, Oxford, Imperial College London, Cambridge, University College London, King’s College London, Queen Mary,  and the University of London.
