Vinh Long University of Technology Education (VLUTE)

Vinh Long University of Technology Education (VLUTE) is a public university located in Vinh Long Province, in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. Guided by the philosophy “where there is no boundary between school and reality”, the university is committed to bridging academic knowledge with practical application, ensuring that higher education directly contributes to industrial development, community well-being, and a sustainable society.

History and Mission

Founded more than 60 years ago, VLUTE has grown from a vocational teacher training school into a multidisciplinary university. It is recognized for its strengths in engineering education, applied sciences, and technical and vocational teacher training in Vietnam. Its mission is to nurture graduates who are academically competent, practically capable, and ready to address both regional and global challenges.

Academic Strengths

VLUTE offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Food Technology, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, and Educational Sciences. The university is particularly distinguished in technical teacher education, with curricula closely aligned with industry needs.

All programs emphasize practice-oriented learning. Students actively participate in projects related to digital transformation in education, sustainable engineering and green construction, innovation, and technology transfer.
