With a Bachelor of Economics, you will develop a detailed understanding of how decisions are made by individuals, firms, and governments through analysis of micro and macro economic environments for business and the broader community. This on-campus, 3-year full-time or 7-year part-time course is offered at the Hobart campus, with a limited number of first year units are also available at the Launceston and Cradle Coast Campuses. A depth of understanding in a particular discipline allows you to pursue a focused career, but an economics qualification also provides an excellent generalist degree for many graduate positions. Irrespective of your chosen career path a knowledge of economics gives you a competitive advantage.
