The Foundation Year in Youth and Community Work forms part of an integrated four-year degree programme, and is designed for students who lack the admissions criteria for direct entry onto a degree course in subjects including BA (Hons) Youth and Community Work and BA (Hons) Youth and Community Work (Youth Justice). This youth and community work degree will prepare students for a career working with children and young people in a range of settings, helping them to enhance their personal, social and educational development. On successful completion of this course, students will gain a professionally recognised qualification that is recognised UK-wide by the Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) and endorsed by Education and Training Standards Wales (ETS).
