You will receive a strong introduction to project management principles and learn the techniques needed to effectively manage large construction projects, including established theories and recent developments. The focus of the courses may include management of construction organisations, risk management and business analytics, cost and value management, contract administration, planning and control, and informatics.

To qualify for entry into the Graduate Certificate in Construction Project Management you’ll need to need to have one of the following:
- A bachelor degree in a related field*
- A bachelor degree in any field + three years construction industry experience at a managerial level
- An accredited diploma in a related field* + three years construction experience at a managerial level
- An accredited diploma in an unrelated field + five years construction experience at a managerial level
- A recognised and relevant professional qualification + 5 years of work experience in the construction industry at a management level. Professional qualifications include membership of the: (1) Australian Institute of Building (AIB); (2) Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS); (3) Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS); (4) Master Builders Association (MBA); or (5) Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
