Do you consider yourself an observer, with the ability to listen, discuss, communicate and reach agreements? Are you a responsible, organised, methodological, creative and flexible person? If the answer is yes and you have a good grasp of Catalan, and also Spanish, we invite you to enrol in the UAB's Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education. You will receive the basic training needed to teach to 6 to 12-year-olds within the context of Catalonia's compulsory education system. You will discover and be able to contrast theoretical and practical knowledge of how to be a teacher who meets the needs of an ever changing world. You will acquire a generalist-type training, with the possibility of choosing from thirteen specialisations. If you are not interested in a specialisation, you can choose from a wide number of optional subjects instead. If you are interested in discovering other cultures, you will be able to choose from 40 different European universities and participate in an Erasmus exchange programme. The UAB also has practicum agreements with Germany, Belgium, France, Italy and the United Kingdom. Throughout your studies the degree coordinator will accompany you in the professional guidance process.

UAB bachelor's degrees provide students with a large amount of practical experience, helping them to be better prepared as they enter the professional world.
The UAB Barcelona Summer Schooloffers a wide array of subjects in several fields and takes place from the end of June to the beginning of August. Most of the courses are taught in English, with an option to learn and improve your Spanish as a Foreign Language. Depending on the regulations of each home university, especially if there is a mobility agreement with the UAB, students will be able to transfer the credits earned during their stay to their current degree.
Universitary Master's Degrees,which provide you with advanced interdisciplinary training and are divided into programmes offering practical training for employment and others specialising in initiation to research. Our official master's degrees are valid in all of Spain and equivalent to the master's degrees programmes in Europe. The research-oriented programmes give access to PhD programmes.
UAB Master's Degreesand Graduate Diplomas.The aim of these programmes is to provide students with an advanced-level, specialised, multidisciplinary education oriented towards professional specialisation. In order to guarantee their academic rigour, they are subject to similar quality control processes to those used for official programmes taught at the UAB. Professors, professionals and external institutions take part in graduate teaching to make sure that courses offer the practical approach that the labour market demands.
