In accordance with the curriculum, the students need to acquire minimum of 144 OUC that consist of 130 compulsory credits and 14 elective credits which can be achieved in approximately 4 years. This Program aims for Civil Engineering in general which means that there are no specification/ particular specialties in the curriculum. However, student can freely select their elective subjects, as well as their final assignment (undergraduate thesis) under five choices of disciplines: Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Construction Management and Water Infrastructure Engineering.

Numerous national and international awards have been won by UB's civil engineering students. These include the 1st place in the Indonesian bridge competition in 2013, 2016, and 2023, 2nd and 3rd place in the Asphalt National Competition in 2022, 2nd and 4th place in the NTU Singapore Bridge Design Competition in 2022, 1st place of Tender Competition in 2023, and so on.

The graduates of Civil Engineering UB are not only expected to more adaptable in their career, but also mastered the basic knowledge of civil engineering, updated with the newest technology and information, had a logical mind set, and could behave professionally. As a graduate in this field, the alumni will find opportunities to work as site engineer, site manager, cost control, quality control, CAD Drafter, BIM engineer, Structural supervisor, academician, and Consultancy government institution etc.
