This programme will equip the graduates of Masters in Constitutional Law and Amparo with an ethical and humanistic approach that contribute to the solution of legal problems of the individual, through the application of legal procedures such as Human Rights, Federal Powers and Amparo, in the interpretation and execution of legal orders, to ensure legal effectiveness and provide improvement in the application of the norm at the regional level.

There are a number of undergraduate programs available at UPAEP.

The usual entry requirements for undergraduates are:
•    Prove your identity
•    You have to have completed your baccalaureate and undergo an admissions exam
•    You need to be under 23 years old

Required identity documents
•    Birth certificate
•    INE
•    Passport
•    CURP
•    For medical students, you can be no older than 23 years when teaching starts

High school certificate
An official transcript showing the grades of every course taken semester by semester.

To apply for enrollment in the spring season (starting in January), it is required to submit a full transcript that certifies the completion of high school.

Applicants for the Medicine program shall have a minimum grade point average of 8.5 up to the fourth semester or equivalent.

Requirements for international students:
•    Birth certificate (legalized as appropriate) translated into Spanish
•    Transcript, academic records, qualification certificate etc.
•    Your school leaving certificate translated into Spanish
•    Copy of your passport

Tuition fees at undergraduate level are charged per unit. The cost per unit may vary, for example, in the fall 2020 season, the cost per unit is $1,578.00 (MXN)*. The average number of courses to enroll per semester is six, that is, depending on the number of units each course has, approximately 36 units, which amounts to $56,808 (MXN)* for total tuition fee on the fall 2020 season.

There are a number of postgraduate courses available at UPAEP.

At master’s level, there is everything from health science, business and engineering and everything in between.

There are also a number of doctorate fields of study available too.

Applicants to graduate programs may sign in within UPAEP’s admission platform. Students will need the following documents:

•    CURP (registration and personal identification code)

•    Certificate of professional examination with an issuance date of no more than one year

Tuition fees vary depending on whether you’re studying for a master’s or doctorate. Programs are charged per unit.

For a master’s it is around US$121 (MXN$2,880) per unit and US$136 (MXN$3,378) for doctorates.

On average, a graduate student enrolls on two courses per season, if both courses** have 6 units, that is 12 units, which amounts to a total tuition fee of $34,560 (MXN) for a Master’s degree program or $40,536 (MXN) for Doctorate program.

At postgraduate level, students can apply for different scholarships including:

The admission process for foreign applications requires you to scan and upload documents in the appropriate format file and quality according to the instructions. The documents to submit are:

  • Birth certificate apostilled or legalized as appropriate and, if applicable, to attach translation into Spanish or, Naturalization Certificate if any
  • Baccalaureate school diploma (or equivalent) and translation into Spanish if applicable
  • Transcript or grade certificate of a three-year baccalaureate school program (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s degree certificate apostilled or legalized and, if applicable, to attach a certified translation into Spanish
