The curriculum for the PhD-TM is a research oriented degree program which emphasizes the attainment of a high level of scholarship relevant to the rapidly emerging area of technology management. The program consists of six basic courses, seven major courses, two cognates, one foreign language and dissertation writing.
The Doctor of Philosophy- Technology Management program has the following objectives: 1. Enhance target clientele’s knowledge and skills in managing/packaging new and emerging technological innovations and effectively make use or transfer them to industry and education community; 2. Develop their skills in designing and implementing researches related to technology management; 3. Upgrade the quality of technology generators and development programs implementers by providing specialized education and training; and 4. Provide opportunities for the economically disadvantaged by deserving technology and development workers and instructors to avail advanced education.

Applicants seeking admission to the SLSU Graduate School must be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized academic institution for Master’s program applicants and a Master’s degree for the Doctoral program applicants. Applicants are required to submit the following requirements:
Accomplished Application Form (Form SLSU-QF-GS19)
Transcript of Record (TOR) from the last school attended (with Informative or Further Studies Indicated Purpose)

Sealed Letters of Recommendation applicants from previous professors, supervisors/colleagues. (Form SLSU-QF-GS21) - Two (2) sealed letters for Master’s degree applicants / Three (3) for Doctoral degree
