In line with the training courses of the countries of the European Union, the single-cycle Master's Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthodontics aims to train the professional figure of "Dentist" and guarantees the right of establishment and professional exercise with the bilateral recognition of qualifications between EU countries, based on Directives 2005/36/EC and 2013/55/EU. To this end, a congruity between the number of enrolled students and the educational potential of the universities is indispensable; this is the reason for the establishment of the programmed number, in Italy as in other EU countries (Law 264/99). The course lasts six years and provides for the acquisition of a total number of 360 training credits, the distribution of which, in compliance with the conditions set out in the annexes of the Ministerial Decree of 03/16/2007, it includes disciplinary areas including "indispensable" training activities for the training of the dentist.
