The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science online degree completion programs in Early Childhood Education (PreK-4) are designed for the work-experienced adult with some prior college level coursework. Students may also start in our online Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education program and then continue on for their BA or BS in ECE. The program is designed to provide a convenient and effective means of progress toward completion of the degree. The BA degree does prepare graduates for careers working in early childhood settings but does not prepare them for state certification, which is required to teach in public school settings. However, the BS degree includes student teaching resulting in Pennsylvania State Certification, as approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). Graduates from the early childhood programs have gone on to be: Elementary School Teachers Head Start Coordinators Daycare Owners, Directors Early Childhood Specialists And other related educational positions Organizations that hire our graduates include: Elementary Schools Learning/ Tutoring Centers Head Start Centers Daycare Centers Keystone Stars And More!
