RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business will prepare you to become an engineering manager.
You will graduate from this degree ready to move into an engineering management role either relatively early in your career or after a period of experience as a professional engineer, rather than having to undertake further study.
The engineering degree will develop knowledge and skills that will enable you to find better solutions to challenges in the design, construction and maintenance of electronic hardware, embedded systems, firmware development, communication and network systems. 
This could include the automation of electrical and electronic systems; audio and visual information acquisition, digital signal processing; human-machine interaction, industrial or medical instrumentation and monitoring; reconfigurable logic development; distributed computing and provision of security for computer systems and networks.
You will also learn to design and build devices and systems that transfer and store information via radio frequency or optical fibre transmissions, and manage and secure the flow of information through such systems.  
The degree in business will develop your skills in the field of business management. The business degree is flexible, allowing you to develop generalist business knowledge or undertake more focused studies through a choice of majors, minors and cross-disciplinary study options.
