Master in Information Technology for Natural Resources Management program aims to produce graduates who are able to develop and deepen knowledge and use of information technology for sustainable natural resource management by utilizing information technology for sustainable natural resource management. This program helps students to be able to implement modeling-based information technology to solve problems in the field of natural resource management, as well as solve problems in the field of natural resource management by utilizing information technology comprehensively. Graduates also will be able to manage research and development and communicate the results to the scientific community and the general public both at the national and international levels.

Bachelor’s Degree in IPB University is a four-year program. Since 2005, IPB University has offered the major-minor curriculum that allows students to choose from more than 500 combinations of competencies. This opportunity allows scholars of IPB University to obtain double competencies, even a double degree to enable them to compete in the job market. Their competencies are not limited to the activities of on-farm agriculture, but also off-farm agricultural activities which cover, among others, agribusiness and agro-industry.
