Master in Ecotourism Management and Environmental Services program aims to produce graduates who are able to become an expert assessor of the area or region for the use of ecotourism and environmental services in accordance with the principles and pillars of ecotourism, through the process of analyzing resource potential and selecting appropriate methods, supported by skills in the fields of communication, management and technology. This program helps graduates to master the theory and knowledge of ecotourism and environmental services and their application through an inter or multidisciplinary scientific approach based on the core of leisure science, recreation, ecotourism, planning, and conservation. Graduates also will be ale to plan, manage research in the field of ecotourism and environmental services that are beneficial to the community or scientific development and receive national and international recognition in the form of scientific publications in scientific journals or exhibitions.

Bachelor’s Degree in IPB University is a four-year program. Since 2005, IPB University has offered the major-minor curriculum that allows students to choose from more than 500 combinations of competencies. This opportunity allows scholars of IPB University to obtain double competencies, even a double degree to enable them to compete in the job market. Their competencies are not limited to the activities of on-farm agriculture, but also off-farm agricultural activities which cover, among others, agribusiness and agro-industry.
