The tourism industry offers you distant countries and cultures, travel, events, and varied tasks after the tourism and event management bachelor’s degree. During your studies, you will learn how to market experiences and expectations and how to ensure economic success. How do you plan the summer season with hoteliers and how are holiday areas marketed for the winter. Tourism and events deal with the implementation of dreams and wishes of customers with a focus on profitability.

Whether hotel & cruise management, tourism & event marketing or travel event management - the tourism course combines business administration and management basics with current trends and topics in the tourism and event industry. The international orientation, as well as the practice-oriented teaching of the course content, are in the foreground in the tourism management course.

If you are studying event management and tourism, your studies will be strongly practice-oriented through internships with an international focus, semesters abroad, workshops, consulting projects and experienced lecturers from the business world. During their studies, students develop concepts and options for action for hotels and tour operators, visit trade fairs for events and companies from the tourism and event management sector.
