  • hold a Bachelor’s degree with first class honours (or equivalent qualification) from a recognised university;
  • hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent qualification) from a recognised university; or
  • be a current MPhil student in the University who seeks transfer to PhD Candidature.

Taught Postgraduate Programmes

More than 50 taught postgraduate programmes in diverse and extensive subject areas help students pursue their personal interests, professional excellence and career advancement. Students receive an innovative, in-depth education mainly in the form of coursework while some programmes may require the completion of a project or thesis. Programmes may be offered in full-time, part-time or combined mode, and generally require one to two years of study, depending on the credit load requirements on individual programmes.
