The School of Medicine of the CUHK(Shenzhen) adheres the mature system of the Faculty of Medicine of the CUHK and combines the medical needs of the mainland to create an advanced teaching mode that is both suitable for the domestic and international standards. Founded in 1981, the Faculty of Medicine of the CUHK ranks fifth among Asian medical schools in the latest QS World University Rankings, thanks to its innovative curriculum design and teaching system. As a key displine, Clinical Medicine will adopt a nine-year integrated doctoral training model (to be approved), which will be taught in English, enabling students to acquire comprehensive and systematic medical knowledge during undergraduate study. Undergraduate education in the first two years will focus on the foundation of medical knowledge, the contents related to Physiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy and Tissue Embryology, courses likes pathology as for the bridge between pre-clinical medicine and clinical medicine knowledge, and then three years students will study clinical courses, and finish training in hospital operation, such as trainee practice clinical subjects. After completion of their studies, students are awarded a CUHK (Shenzhen) Bachelor of Medicine degree and a CUHK Bachelor of Science (Clinical Medicine) degree.

Domestic students would follow this process to gain entry at the university. Prospective students need: 

  • Excellent score in their national college entrance examination or other widely accepted standardized examinations

The tuition fee for local and international students is 95000 RMB per academic year.
Scholarships are available, and students also have the opportunity to join work-study programs offered by various schools and offices at the university. Work-Study Plan (up to 1000 RMB/month)

International students can apply to undergraduate programs via the online application system.

Shenzhen Finance Institute (SFI) has collaborated with CUHK-Shenzhen to offer Master’s programs. 

SFI offers six full-time Master of Science programs in finance, economics, accounting, data science, marketing and information management and business analytics, and two part-time Master of Science programs in finance and business management.

Tuition is the same for both local and international students and is above RMB 200,000 for all SFI programs (depending on the program and length). For example, MSc in Finance is 258,000 RMB for 18 months.

Scholarships are provided for both local and international students. Merit-based Entrance Scholarships are granted to qualified candidates; Scholarship for Academic Excellence will be awarded subjected to satisfactory academic performance.

Applicants should submit their applications and upload documents via the Online System for Applicants of Postgraduate Programs. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of RMB 300.



Undergrad programs
