Bachelor's degree: 1. Rules for admission of foreign applicants (bachelor's degree) 1.1 Persons (hereinafter referred to as the Applicant) who have general secondary and vocational, post-secondary, higher education are admitted to study for bachelor’s degree on a paid basis. 1.2 Admission of persons entering the University on a paid basis is carried out on their applications on a competitive basis in accordance with the decision of the admission commission; 1.3 Applications with subsequent participation in the competition for admission to paid education are accepted through the information system of the University on an ongoing basis from June 20 to August 10, 2021. 1.4 To participate in the competition for admission to paid education, persons who received a positive decision of the selection committee are allowed; 1.5 Required list of documents for online training format (in case of force majeure: epidemic, pandemic): - An electronic version of the application for an online interview; - Electronic version of the application for enrollment; - Scanned version of the passport; - A scanned version of a certificate or education document with an attachment on the availability of the following information: the number of hours of academic disciplines and practices passed, the final grades received; - Electronic version of the photo in size 3x4; - Electronic version of the medical certificate issued by the country of residence; - Scanned version of the national testing certificate; - Receipt of payment for tuition; - Scanned version of the signed agreement on the provision of educational services for foreign students. 1.6 Required list of documents for offline training format: - Application for an online interview; - Application for enrollment; - A copy of the passport (certified by a Kazakh notary); - The original of the certificate or document on education with the attachment on the availability of the following information: the number of hours of academic disciplines and practices passed, the final grades received; - A copy of the certificate (certified by a Kazakh notary); - Certificate of nostrification of the educational document issued by foreign organizations; - 4 things. 3x4 photos; - Medical certificate U-075 (+ fluorography picture). The examination must be done at the Medical Center of NJSC "AMU"; - National Testing Certificate; - Receipt of payment for tuition; - A signed contract for the provision of educational services for foreign students; - A4 envelope (paper, horizontal); - Binder. 1.7 Admission of persons is carried out based on the results of passing the entrance exams with the subsequent payment of tuition fees at their own expense. The cost of training is determined in accordance with the tariff for paid educational services for the corresponding academic year, approved in accordance with the established procedure. 2 The procedure for enrolling in a bachelor's degree 2.1 Procedure for passing exams in core disciplines and passing an online interview: Access to the passing of entrance exams is provided by sending a notification to the provided contact information of the applicant. Applicants entering the University take an exam in the following disciplines: - Online interview for knowledge of Russian or English (according to the chosen language of instruction). To pass the online interview, the candidate must: make a step-by-step registration on the website: amu.kz using the link https://forms.office.com/r/r1s2wEgPAa; - Chemistry (online testing); - Biology (online testing). 2.2 The passing score for admission to the University is at least 15 points out of 25 in core disciplines. 3. Appeal 3.1 An applicant who does not agree with the result of the entrance exams has the right to appeal to the chair of the University Appeal Commission on the day of the announcement of the results, indicating the discipline and a description of the issue requiring commission consideration. 3.2 The application must have visas: - the chairman of the appeal commission; - members of the appeal commission; 3.3 If the decision is positive, an order of appeal is issued. 3.4 The decision of the subject appeal commission is drawn up in the minutes. The score obtained on the basis of the results of the appeal is recorded in the exam minutes. 3.5 The minutes of the appeal committee kept by the secretary of the selection committee. 3.6 Criteria for appeal: Chemistry and Biology: - test tasks do not contain the correct answer; - test tasks contain several correct answers; - test items are not correctly worded. 4. University enrollment 4.1 Enrollment of students entering the University is carried out by the admissions committee, in the traditional format, from August 10 to 25 (if necessary, the date is subject to change by the decision of the University Board) of the calendar year by order of the Chairman of the Board - the Rector of the University or the person acting in his office. 4.2 The university, within 10 (ten) calendar days after the completion of enrollment, submits to the authorized body in the field of education a final report on the enrollment of students to the university. Residency: The University developed the Rules for admission to training of medical personnel in residency: 1. Persons who have a document indicating the qualification of a "doctor" are admitted to residency. 2. The admission of persons entering the residency is carried out by placing a state educational order at the expense of the republican budget or local budget, as well as paying for training at the expense of the student's own funds and other sources. 3. The plan for admission to residency is determined by the authorized body in the field of healthcare (hereinafter referred to as the authorized body) in the prescribed form, in accordance with Appendix 1 to these Rules. According to the plan for admission to residency, agreements concluded between the authorized body and educational and scientific organizations in the prescribed form. 4. Admission to residency of educational organizations is carried out on a competitive basis based on the results of entrance exams; the procedure approved and carried out by educational organizations independently. The admission of foreigners to residency is carried out on a paid basis in accordance with the Standard Rules for admission to training in educational organizations implementing educational programs of postgraduate education, approved by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2018 No. 600 (registered in the Register of State Registration of Normative Legal Acts under No. 17650). The foreigners can be enrolled on a competitive basis in accordance with the state educational order of free postgraduate education determined by international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 5. The admission of foreign citizens in an educational organization on a paid basis is carried out based on the results of an interview conducted by the admissions committees of an educational organization during a calendar year. Enrollment of foreign citizens is carried out in accordance with the academic calendar 5 (five) days before the start of the next academic period. 6. Education documents issued by foreign educational organizations are recognized or nostrified in the manner prescribed by law in accordance with the Rules for the recognition and nostrification of education documents approved by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 10, 2008 No. 8 (registered in the State Registration Register normative legal acts under No. 5135). 7. To receive documents and organize entrance examinations in educational institutions, an admission committee is created. 8. Reception of applications for residency, educational organization, is carried out by the selection committees of the educational organization and (or) through the information system from July 3 to July 25 of the calendar year. Master's degree: 1. Requirements for the admission of persons to study for master's programs 1.1 The formation of the contingent of the University master’s degree is carried out by placing a state educational order for training personnel in scientific, pedagogical and specialized areas, as well as paying for training at the expense of citizens and other sources. 1.3 The University announces admission to study for master's degree programs only if there are appropriate licenses to conduct educational activities, based on the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the allocation of budget places for master's studies. 1.4 Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan are provided with the right to receive, on a competitive basis, in accordance with the state educational order, free postgraduate education, if they receive education of this level for the first time, with the exception of military, special educational institutions. 1.5 Education of foreigners in the master’s degree is carried out on a paid basis. The University determines tuition fees independently. The right to receive free postgraduate education by foreigners on a competitive basis in accordance with the state educational order is determined by international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 1.6 The number of citizens admitted to the Master's program of the University at the expense of the budget is determined within the limits of the state educational order placed annually on a competitive basis by the central executive body in the field of health care. 1.7 The University has the right to carry out, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of education, the admission of citizens in excess of the state educational order established by the central authorized body in the field of education for training on the basis of contracts with payment of tuition fees at the expense of legal entities and (or) individuals. 2. Requirements for admission of persons to study under MBA programs 2.1 Requirements determine the procedure for admission of persons under the MBA educational programs of the University. 2.2 The formation of the contingent for the educational programs of the MBA of the University is carried out on a paid basis. The University determines the cost of training independently. 2.3 The University announces admission to study under the accredited MBA educational programs. 3 The work of the admission committee 3.1 To receive documents and organize entrance exams, an admission committee is created at the University. The Chairman of the Admissions Committee is the Chairman of the Board - the Rector of the University or the person acting as him. The composition of the admission committee and functions are approved by the order of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the University. The admission committee carries out: - Consulting applicants on master's degree, MBA, familiarization with the complex testing procedure (hereinafter - CT); - Organization of reception and verification of incoming documents; 3.2 The acceptance of applications from persons applying for training on a state educational order, including within the framework of targeted training, carried out at the University, determined by the authorized body in the field of education, on which masters are trained. The deadline for accepting applications carried out in accordance with the deadlines reflected in the Model Rules for Admission 4 The procedure for admitting persons to study for master's programs 4.1 Persons who have mastered educational programs of higher education are admitted to the magistracy. 4.2 The admission of citizens to the magistracy for training under the state educational order is carried out by the selection committee based on the results of CT. 4.3 Persons who have received documents on education in foreign educational organizations, for admission to the Master's program at the University in accordance with the level of education and training profile, must go through the procedure of recognition or nostrification of documents on education. Education documents issued by foreign educational organizations are recognized on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with international treaties (agreements). 4.4 Persons entering the magistracy shall submit to the University the documents specified in the Model Rules for Admission. Together with copies of the documents specified in the Model Rules, the original is provided for verification. After verification, the originals will be returned. 4.5 All documents are filled in a binder and entered into the inventory of documents. The title page must contain: - FULL NAME of an applicant (in full); - department; - code - educational program; - home address, mobile phone, email address; - year of admission. 5 The procedure for admitting persons to study in MBA programs 5.1 MBA educational programs are accepted for persons who have mastered the educational programs of higher education and have at least 3 (three) years of work experience. The required prior level of education for persons wishing to master the MBA educational programs presented in Appendix 1 to these rules. 5.2 Persons who received education documents in foreign educational organizations, in order to enroll in MBA programs in accordance with the received level of education and training profile, must go through the procedure of recognition or nostrification of education documents. Education documents issued by foreign educational organizations are recognized on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with international treaties (agreements). 5.3 Persons entering the MBA programs, in the period from July 3 to August 3 and (or) from November 15 to December 15, submit the following documents to the University through the admissions office: - application of the established form; - a copy of the document on higher education with an attachment; - personal sheet of personnel records; - a certified copy of the work book; - two photographs 3 x 4; - medical certificate form 075-U, approved by order No. ҚR DSM-175/2020, together with a card on the passage of fluorography; - a copy of the identity document; - a copy of the international certificate confirming proficiency in a foreign language in accordance with the common European competences / standards (if any); - an essay on the choice of an educational program; - binder (paper), 3 files; Together with copies of the documents specified in this paragraph, the original is provided for verification. After verification, the originals are returned. 5.4 All documents are filed in a binder and entered into the inventory of documents. The title page must contain: - FULL NAME of an applicant (in full); - Department; - MBA educational program; - Home address, mobile phone, email address; - Year of admission. The selection committee checks the authenticity and validity of the submitted documents.
