Plan the construction of transport infrastructure facilities using technologies for new and reconstruction of existing railways using modern methods. Classify track construction machines and mechanisms for performing the necessary type and volume of track work with mechanized and mechanized maintenance of the track, to increase productivity and quality of work, followed by the consolidation of skills for the period of practice in the enterprises of the track economy. Develop surveys and design of railways using various methods of research and development in compliance with the basics of law and the exclusion of corruption matching and the main provisions of transport logistics systems, with the preparation of documents in the state, Russian, English (at the request of the customer). To justify the reconstruction (modernization) of the main and station tracks with the planned growth of the transportation process, knowing the modern structure of the railway track according to the speed and load capacity and the switch economy of the station tracks, according to their purpose.

The Academy of Logistics and Transport (ALT) offers 40 bachelor's degree programs at 4 faculties, which are among the leaders of the national subject rating of Kazakhstan. Students can join bachelor's degree programs in a wide range of disciplines, ranging from technical sciences (chemistry, geography, mathematics, and physics) to social sciences, architecture, information, and Communication Technologies. Students can also choose from several joint dual degree programs in collaboration with leading universities from around the world. Undergraduate educational programs prepare students for critical thinking, comprehensive lifelong learning, and becoming future leaders in their specialties. Most ALT undergraduate programs are accredited by accrediting agencies such as IQAA, IAR.

International undergraduate students study for four years. ALT undergraduate studies include lectures, seminars and laboratory work conducted at the institutes (faculties) and departments of the Academy. ALT has no quotas for international admission, and about 1% of applicants are international students, and their number is increasing every year.

The period of international acceptance of applications in the current academic year lasts all summer. Foreign applicants register on a special website, and prospective students must pass an interview in advance. The application process is generally the same for both international and national students. The Academy accepts applications for training from schools in various countries.

Tuition fees are currently set by the Academy at an affordable price. The tuition fee does not include accommodation or meals.

All students find themselves in an innovative educational environment, and they have access to specialized libraries and computer facilities, as well as access to the Silk Road scientific workshop, technopark, business incubator, and Cisco Academy, Smart Academy 1C, provided by the Academy by enterprises and other organizations of Kazakhstan and foreign countries. The Logistics and Transport Academy offers 28 full Master's degrees and 14 full doctoral programs that will help you move up the career ladder. The Academy is the main higher education institution for the preparation of master's and doctoral students. While studying for a master's degree, students have the opportunity to gain experience in international summer schools and short intensive programs. They are funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Students who have received a Ph.D. degree must complete a one-month international internship as part of their studies. All doctoral students can have one local and one international scientific consultant.

All ALT postgraduate education programs are accredited by accrediting diploma programs such as IQAA, IAAR. ALT has entered into dual degree agreements with German universities (Technical University of Dresden and University of Magdeburg) and maintains partnerships with about 50 universities around the world. ALT covers a wide range of interrelated disciplines, and our training programs offer you a high degree of flexibility and choice, as well as career relevance.

In Kazakhstan, the admission of foreign citizens with a state educational order is carried out on a competitive basis: educational grants under the Scholarship Program of the Republic of Kazakhstan; educational grants within the framework of international agreements of the Republic of Kazakhstan; educational grants for studying at international universities established on the basis of interstate agreements (carried out by universities independently). Also, the admission of foreign citizens to study at universities on a fee basis is carried out according to the results of an interview conducted by the admission commissions of the Academy during the calendar year.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides grants for foreign students, including for persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The program provides students with free tuition and a monthly scholarship depending on the academic success of the student. The scholarship includes: - free training for the entire duration of the selected educational program; - a monthly scholarship for the entire duration of the study, depending on the academic success of the student. For foreign citizens, the admission procedure to the LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT ACADEMY is not complicated. But before you come to Kazakhstan, it is IMPORTANT to KNOW: To get a permit / invitation to study at the ACADEMY, you need to contact via email [email protected]; Attach electronic versions (pdf) format of the following documents: Diploma and Appendix; Passport. Afterarriving in Kazakhstan, you will present the original documents to the admissions committee when you arrive at the Academy of Logistics and Transport.
One of the main goals of the academy is to create comfortable conditions and a comfortable environment for students. The Academy has 4 student dormitories with 2500 seats. To date, the students of the Academy are provided with 100%. In the homes of ALT students, there is a free wireless WI-FI Internet access network, with a speed of 100 Mbit/s. All conditions for life, study and recreation have been created in the homes of students. All the houses of the academy students are equipped with gyms, which are equipped for sports activities, as well as billiard and tennis tables, and an aerobics room for girls. A library, gyms, a canteen, a terminal for replenishing phone accounts, copy centers, a laundry room – all the first things necessary for a comfortable life function in every student's Home.
