Department of Political Science and International Relations is an interdisciplinary department which feeds from different disciplines. In this respect, along with theoretical and practical matters of international relations, different fields of sciences such as, international law, economics, sociology, philosophy and history fall within the scope of Political Science and International Relations. In an integrated and globalized world, our vision is that educating individuals who have far-reaching knowledge not only about Turkey but also on an international scale.
In this context Istanbul Political Science and International Relations program of Yeniyüzyıl University includes many different interdisciplinary research and regional studies which are guided by its expert academic staff. Regional Studies that focus on the Europe, the Eurasia, the Middle East, the Balkans and Africa along with Interdisciplinary studies like migration, security, women and identity are some examples of these studies which might provide a solid base for postgraduate education to the students of Political Science and International Relations.
In the Department of Political Science and International Relations which the medium of instruction is Turkish; students are provided English courses with different ith the vocational English courses, the terminology of the field is dominated in the English language. In addition, students are offered the opportunity to study abroad with international student exchange programs. In the Department of Political Science and International Relations, students are expected to learn English and the terminology of the field through the English courses which are giving at different levels. In addition, students are offered the opportunity to study abroad with international student exchange programs.
