     The College of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, within its Scientific Department of Islamic Studies, offers a Bachelor's program in Islamic Studies established in 2004 AD. The program consists of 144 units spread across 72 courses, with a minimum duration of eight years or semesters required for graduation. There have been 28 graduates from this program, distributed among two batches, though either batch suffices if one is unavailable.

      The Islamic Studies program aims to meet the community's need for specialized researchers and educators who are fully qualified to teach Islamic sciences at various levels of general education. It also seeks to connect members of the community with their religious identity and timeless Islamic heritage through contemporary scientific curricula and modern methods. This is to contribute to the dissemination of correct Islamic culture among community members and to demonstrate the spirit of tolerance, facilitation, and renewal through its noble objectives. Furthermore, the program endeavors to reject manifestations of deviation and extremism, correct misconceptions, address negative phenomena within the Islamic community, and foster communication bridges within it.

     The program aims to achieve several key objectives. Firstly, it seeks to define the concepts and scientific terminology within Islamic sciences. Secondly, it aims for students to develop a comprehensive understanding of subjects related to Islamic studies. Additionally, it aims to establish connections between the content taught and the outcomes sought when addressing issues within Islamic studies. Lastly, the program encourages active participation in cognitive development by organizing forums and events related to Islamic studies.
