In the Bachelor of Business Law, you combine topics from business administration and law in an ideal way. Whether civil law, contract law or labor law - the business law course combines basic management knowledge with exciting activities in business law. Commercial lawyers (m/f/d) have the ability to assess opportunities and risks from a legal and economic perspective.


Mandatory internships with an international focus at home and abroad, workshops and consulting projects with well-known companies as well as experienced lecturers from the business world prepare you for responsible work as a commercial lawyer in the business law degree. Companies are looking for legal experts with a good understanding of business and economic relationships.

Tuition fees per semester (EU / Non-EU):

  • €5,700 in campuses Dortmund, Frankfurt/Main, München, Hamburg and Cologne
  • Language of instruction: German and English.
Enrollment Fees:
  • €600 for EU students
  • €1,500 for non-EU students

You need this for admission to the course:

  • a successfully completed high school diploma  or
  • a successfully completed vocational diploma (school and practical part)  or
  • a professional qualification (e.g. master’s certificate),
  • Language skills (at least level B2) of the respective language of instruction (German or English),
  • the application documents as well
  • successful participation in the ISM entrance test (Mathematics and English, as well as an interview)

The Bachelor's programs in International Management, Finance & Management and Information Systems are characterized by their international orientation and a visionary focus. ISM has a range of postgraduate business study options, including business masters, MBA, and PhD/DBA programs.

The Master`s programs last two years including an internship and a semester abroad. One of the highlights is the possibility to do a double degree with one of  the highly respected partner universities.

ISM also offers business study options for bachelor graduates who have no background in business like the Master International Business or the MBA programs (full-time or part-time) for students with work experience.
