Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Journalism - Public Relations Concentration

Students will combine the skills of storytelling with technology and new media. Students who pursue a journalism major with a focus on public relations will focus more on public relations writing, principles and practices and less on reporting and editing. In a public relations career, you'll analyze and research public opinion, implement communication programs, and help management communicate with its target audiences. You may work in a firm offering services to many clients or in institutions such as hospitals, corporations, government agencies, foundations and school systems.
