Admission Requirements

6+
2 years HE experience and 2 years language study of English and ideally business at diploma level and IELTS 6.0

Only open to non-native speakers of English.

Level 4 - minimum of CEF low B2, IELTS 5.5 or equivalent and a good record of marks from secondary school. School-leaving qualifications and records will be considered on an individual basis as international education systems vary considerably. A level (or equivalent) entry qualification in the language of their choice.

Level 5 - minimum CEF low B2, IELTS 5.5 or equivalent and at least one year of undergraduate study in a field related to English Language and/or Business in English plus one year of chosen language studied at undergraduate level.

Level 6 - minimum of CEF high B2, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent and at least 2 years of undergraduate study in a field related to English Language and/or Business in English plus two years of chosen language studied at undergraduate level (B2 level)

Admission to a named foreign language pathway may be subject to interview and test in the foreign language. Students who are not accepted on the named foreign language pathway but who have the requisite level of English will be able to study BA (Hons) International Business Communication or English for International Corporate Communication.
