Vishwakarma University, established as a State Private University under the Government of Maharashtra Act No. XXXVIII on the 3rd of May 2017, stands as a beacon of academic excellence in the region. VU is a proud member of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and has gained recognition on the global stage. This year, the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2023 has introduced a new category for innovation. In this category, VU has achieved a ranking in the 151-300 range, outperforming 1,417 participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). In the Times Higher Education Global Impact Rankings 2022, Vishwakarma University, Pune, earned a place among the top institutions worldwide. These rankings evaluate universities based on their alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). VU also received accolades in THE AWARDS ASIA 2022, securing a position among the top eight universities globally.

In 2023, further recognition was achieved by winning THE AWARDS ASIA in “the Leadership and Management Team of the Year” category. Additionally, in the innovative ranking system of the World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI), VU secured a position in the Global Top 100 Innovative Universities, showcasing its commitment to innovation and excellence. Furthermore, VU has collaborated with Harvard Business School Online to offer VU-HBS online courses. These courses, ranging from 3 to 17 weeks in duration, cover subjects such as Business Analytics, Financial Accounting, Entrepreneurship Essentials, and Management Essentials.
