Almaarefa University (UM) is a globally recognized educational institution that values its strong local connections,
which have been established since its inception. In the academic year
2009-2010, the College of Almaarefa for Science and Technology was established
with its headquarters in the governorate of Diriyah due to its historical
importance and relevance. In the beginning of the 2014-2015 academic year, it
transformed into the Colleges of Almaarefa for Science and Technology. After
being established as a unified academic institution, the esteemed Council of
Ministers made the decision in 1439, corresponding to 2018, to convert it into
a privately owned university known as Almaarefa University.

Admission requirements for New High School Graduate, Transferring Students and Diploma Holders:
Obtaining a secondary school certificate (Natural Science) or its equivalent from a school inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or abroad.
Exhibiting good conduct and behaviour.
Should not be dismissed from another college or university due to disciplinary reasons.
Passing any exam or interview required by the university for admission.
Passing the medical test required by the university from an approved hospital.
Should provide permission from his/her employer to continue as a full-time student if he/she is working.
Satisfy any other requirements by the university that may be announced during the admission period.
Pay non-refundable admission fee ( FEES PAGE ).
Pay tuition fee ( FEES PAGE ) which is non-refundable when withdrawing from the university.

Our Home Diriyah –The Jewel of The Kingdom –Our home is the Diriyah city. We have two campuses in Diriyah,
Student Life: Students Clubs: Any group of students is entitled to apply to start a new student club that holds their interests, hobbies or talents together; provided that they meet all the conditions and requirements approved by the Student Activities Department.
This will allow more autonomy to students who will be obligated to meet these standards. Types of Clubs include:
Specialized clubs: College of Medicine club, College of Pharmacy club, College of Applied sciences club.
