The BSc Adult Nursing at UWS will equip you with the skills to practice as an adult nurse within a variety of healthcare settings. This degree will prepare students with the knowledge and skills to practice within hospitals, communities and specialist areas and equip them to work in a multi-disciplinary team. This course is 50% work-based learning, so students can put what they learn in the classroom into practice in a real-life clinical environment. This combination of theory and practical skills means that students will be able to provide professional, practical care and expert advice for people in their time of greatest vulnerability and need, and to minimise ill-health. On completing Adult Nursing course at UWS, graduate will be able to register as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
