The UniSA Master of Business Administration (MBA) has been designed for experienced managers and enterprising leaders. It has a strong practical focus on senior management decision-making and embeds the latest in management and leadership research.
As part of your studies, you will gain real-world insights through access to academic and industry experts, benefit from a curriculum informed by world-class research and further your professional practice to maximise your career progression. You will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse cohort of highly experienced peers from a wide range of industry backgrounds in an engaging learning environment.   
You will also have the opportunity to study the Company Directors Course embedded within your MBA through a unique partnership with the Australian Institute of Company Directors – UniSA is the only university with a partnership of this kind in Australia.
Our fully-flexible MBA allows you to tailor your studies to suit your individual needs with the option to study face-to-face (including intensives and evening classes), online or in mixed mode, as well as full-time or part-time.   
As a guide, full-time MBA students generally undertake two courses per study period and part-time students undertake one course per study period. Studying the MBA full-time will normally take 18 months, but there are opportunities to fast-track your study. Part-time students taking one course per study period will typically complete the MBA in three years.
Marketing specialisation Learn from leading marketing scientists at the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science, the world’s largest centre for research into marketing.
The Institute produces groundbreaking research into how brands grow and how consumers behave, and is sponsored by many of the world’s biggest brands including Coca-Cola, HSBC, Kellogg's, and Unilever.
By collaborating with the Institute's experts in marketing science, you will benefit from an evidence-based approach to marketing and gain access to the latest in practical industry-informed research. You will gain advanced marketing knowledge across a range of areas, including:

  • Advertising theory and practice

Applicants are required to have one of the following:


A completed bachelor degree* from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; or A completed graduate diploma* from a recognised higher education institution; or A completed graduate certificate* from a recognised higher education institution. * Normally applicants who have completed a degree with a grade point average of 4 or better will be eligible for entry.  
Applicants who have:
completed a bachelor degree in a business discipline; or completed a bachelor degree which includes a major in business, commerce, marketing or management; or completed a graduate certificate in a business discipline,
are eligible to enter the program with 0. 5 EFTSL (18 units) Advanced Standing and complete the program in 1. 5 years of full time study or equivalent part time study.
