In order to apply for this postgraduate Counselling degree, applicants will need either a first or second class bachelors’ degree. Additionally, applicants will be carrying out placements whilst working with clients. Having a critical self-awareness and a willingness to reflect on your own process throughout this course is therefore required. Voluntary or professional experience of support work with adults is desirable, but not essential.

The University of Northampton’s undergraduate portfolio encompasses approximately 170 courses, including HNDs, foundation degrees, single honours degrees and the most popular – joint honours programs.
These range over a wide range of disciplines, including computing, games, visual and performance arts, engineering, fashion, journalism, media and performance, business, law, education, history, nursing and health-related disciplines, sport, psychology and criminology.

Tuition fees
Tuition fees are identical for all courses and are set at £12,500 per academic year in 2019-2020 – with just a few unavoidable exceptions: Nursing (£15,500), Occupational Therapy and Podiatry (£13,500 in both cases).
