The objectives of the doctoral guidance and counseling major have three levels:

First: A cognitive level that deals with thinking, perceptions, perceptions, knowledge, experiences, and beliefs. .

Second: The emotional level, which deals with sentiments, emotions, attitudes, and values

Third: Practical (behavioral) level, which deals with the process of modifying behavior and acquiring practical behavioral skills.

In general, the goals of guidance and psychological counseling in the doctorate determine the direction of both the counselor and the client and the counseling process itself, the most important of which are the following:

Developing a positive self-concept -

Achieving compatibility to create a balance between the individual and his environment -

- Achieving mental health by contributing to creating a healthy psychological climate within the group.  

- Improving the educational process by including mental health components in education programs.  

. Providing programs and methods for personal, social, and professional development -

-Active participation that contributes to improving the quality of life in the environment, family, and school

The University is constructed of eight faculties. Each faculty offers several diplomas depending on the student's study, i.e., its specialty and domain of study. Students typically study three years for a bachelor's degree.

In two years, the master's offers students a complementary specialized formation that broadens their knowledge and future career prospects. Also, a master's degree facilitates access to a working position or a career abroad. The University is constructed of eight faculties.
